Welcome to Whitworth Kids!
Whitworth Church comes alongside children and their families so that they may know, love and serve Jesus Christ. We do this by creating a safe environment that welcomes and loves children and teaches the Bible in creative ways. For more information be sure to check out our Facebook page!

Nursery care is provided during all three worship services on Sunday morning. The nursery is staffed with skilled caregivers as well as volunteers from our church family. Every caregiver is trained in CPR as well as how to care for children birth - 3 years old. All caregivers and volunteers have passed a background check. Our hope is that our babies and toddlers experience the love of God through our secure, safe and caring nursery environment.
Sunday School is held for children pre-k through sixth grade during the 10:00 a.m. worship service each week. Loving teachers explore the stories of the Bible in age-appropriate and fun ways.
Preschool and fifth and sixth grade children report directly to their classrooms. Kindergarten through fourth grade children meet in the Mountaintop Room for a time of singing before heading to their classrooms.
Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 7:45 p.m. during the school year are fun-filled nights where Kindergarten through 6th grade children experience games, crafts, service projects and Bible lessons. This fall, our kids are investigating "The Case for Christ!"
5th and 6th Grade
At Whitworth Church we have a program just for 5th and 6th graders. Along with Sunday School and their own version of Kids Club, we host events like snow tubing, super hero dodge ball, roller skating, and overnights throughout the year!
Throughout the year, Whitworth Kids provides fun all-family experiences that help foster friendships amidst our families. Some of the events include Barnyard Bingo, service projects, roller-skating nights and picnics in the summer.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School happens annually for a week out of the summer. The entire church is transformed and decorated for over 300 children. Each day kids experience creative Bible instruction that they can see, hear and touch. Bible crafts, games and lively music are just a few of the things that go on during VBS and help faith flow out of our children’s lives in a very real way.
