This ministry reaches out to children with a parent currently serving a prison term – in some cases providing an adult mentor as needed. In December, Angel Tree provides Christmas gifts and a Bible for each child and hosts a Christmas party. There are always needs with this ministry!
This ministry is one of the few that allows homeless families to stay together. Partnering with other churches, Whitworth Church provides shelter, food, and care for homeless families throughout the year. There is always a need for individuals or families to cover various responsibilities on host weeks.
