What is Church without genuine connection and faith-filled care? A social club, really. Working with the Deacons to build, keep, and protect the link that binds us in God’s love, is our Associate Pastor of Care and Connections, Jamie Fiorino. She brings almost 20 years of ministry experience to Whitworth as together we build a warm and inviting community to know and serve Jesus. A graduate of University of Idaho (‘15) and Princeton Seminary (‘18), Pastor Jamie comes home to Spokane from Colorado and brings with her a silly, sweet pup named Dot. When not cheering for the Green Bay Packers, you’ll find her in a fabric store, a water fitness class, or local coffee shop with a good book, her twin nephews, or in authentic conversation. She has travelled to 49 of the 50 states and spends the year practicing for International Talk Like A Pirate Day (September 19).

Stefan Prescott
Modern Worship Director
Stefan, a native of Biloxi, Mississippi, grew up on a diet of crawfish, hurricanes and music. His music career brought him to Las Vegas in 2003 and he worked at a church there. Stefan has called Spokane home since 2013 and he still can't adjust to the cold and snow.
Youth Ministries
Emily Voight
Nursery & Childcare Coordinator
Emily has been working at Whitworth Church since 2019, taking various positions. Emily is the Nursery and Childcare Coordinator. Upon moving to Spokane in 2008, Emily soon became involved with activities at Whitworth Church like youth group and VBS. Whitworth Church continues to hold a special place in her heart as the years go on. She has an Associate of Applied Science in Library and Information Services at Spokane Falls Community College and a Bachelors of Applied Science in Management. She is working on getting her Master of Library and Information Science degree from LSU. Emily is also the daughter of Rachel Voight, our Administrative Assistant! A few of Emmy’s favorite things are cats, sour candy, and Play Station games!

Youth Ministry Coordinator
Hi church family. I am so blessed to be a part of your congregation as well as a part of your student’s faith formation through middle school and high school ministry. Youth programs were a large part of my faith formation and my time at Whitworth University was spent studying the life and teachings of Christ in preparation for a role just like this one. I can’t wait to get to know your students, learn what they care about, help them grow closer to God and one another, and have some fun while we’re at it. Middle and high school is one of the most formative times in student’s faith journey, so thank you for trusting me with this honor. Keep me in your prayers as I take on this job under Christ with your students. Thank you.

As the Administrative Assistant and Facilities Manager for Whitworth Church, Rachel wears many hats! She has worked at Whitworth Church in many capacities since 2012! She loves the day-to-day interaction with staff, church members and the community and enjoys helping in any way that she can. Whether it’s answering a question or making sure things run smoothly, it will be done with a smile! Rachel has been married for 28 years to William, her handsome, wonderful husband. They have two beautiful daughters, Abigail and and Emily. A secret about Rachel? Besides her family, she loves vanilla lattes, 49ers and Candy Crush!
