For the month of January, we will meet on the 26th at 6:30pm, then Every 3rd Monday
starting in February. A gathering of faith-filled women for support, resources, and strength in their united fight against Breast cancer

Grades 6-8 will meet from 5:00pm to 6:30pm on Wednesdays and will include dinner!
We will meet beginning on January 7th-28th. The classes will cover Introduction to Christianity (including sacraments, confessions, salvation, and Bible content) and hear stories of lived faith from current church members.

Join us for a service on the longest night of the year, when the world experiences the most darkness, we gather to remember, to lament, to worship.
Bring your puzzles to trade! There will be a good selection of puzzles on the table in the Welcome Center after worship on Sunday, December 21.
Monthly Men’s Group will meet for a little Midrash conversation of Luke 1:46-55 (aka The Magnificat) at 10:00 am (after the Missions Breakfast)
This months mission is Side By Side. They offer several programs and gatherings, each of which is designed to bring people both with and without intellectual/developmental disabilities together, to build friendships. People with I/DD often travel through life in a separate lane. We think life is better when we’re together.
SAVE THE DATE!
We will meet at the church at 5pm on Friday, December 12th, eat pizza and practice carols, and then carpool over to the VA for some caroling (musical talent not required), before ending up at the Tallungan house for a cookie potluck. More information about pickup time to come. This is a family event, so anyone is welcome to come! We do ask that parents stay with kids 2nd grade and under, but 3rd-graders and up can be dropped off.
Bring a lunch dish to share as well as a wrapped ornament for exchange!

We are taking a break from all bible studies, kid’s and youth programs for the week of Thanksgiving.

Conversations abound! Join others for a purposeful time of connection. Meet on a Saturday once a month at 8:00 am for a time of connection and study.
The monthly missions breakfast will highlight the work of New Hope Resource Center. Our very own Ron Hoxie will bring a presentation about NHRC, the current food crisis, and what individuals can do in north Spokane County. Breakfast is at 8 am, presentation begins at 8:30. A donation basket will be available with half of the money covering the cost of the meal and the rest going to New Hope. (Canned food donations, as well as perishable proteins and produce, can also be donated as part of the Deacons' food drive.)
Calling all Whitworth Kids in Pre-k through 12th grade! Rehearsals begin November 2nd in the Sanctuary right after Worship. There are speaking and non-speaking roles available. Sign up today!

Join us for our Annual Family Fall Carnival. There will be Games! Food! Prizes! Costumes are encouraged! We need volunteers to help decorate and to run booths!

Fellowship Friends is for anyone free in the middle of the day on the third Thursday of the month.
We alternate between potluck in the church and field trips out into the community.
All are invited to join the Missions Team for breakfast and fellowship in Quall Hall. Markus Rissmann will prepare a delicious breakfast, and the Team will provide an update on its work so far and its upcoming plans. That presentation will include local non-profit partnering opportunities, potential service opportunities, and will discuss insights from participating in a World Relief Refugee Simulation.
Storytelling Pizza Potluck

The Ezra Design Team invites you to talk about some of our favorite moments at Whitworth Church. The team is providing Pizza and asking participants to bring a favorite side dish or dessert. Coffee and water will be provided.
The Ezra 3 Project Team* invites you to participate in the “I SPY” walk on October 5th, immediately after worship. Our church neighborhood will be divided up into sections and your group will walk for 30-60 minutes, noting new opportunities and challenges with new eyes. There will be a handout to guide your observations. Afterward, we will meet back at the church for a quick debrief and snacks.
