Cost: $200 per person and $500 per family (need based scholarships/fundraising available)
Description: Join us for a week of serving together at The Campbell Farm on the Yakima Reservation. This will be an immersive experience that includes farming, serving their daycare students and unhoused families, learning about Yakima Reservation history/culture, and good food and worship on the Farm! Everyone is welcome to come, but we are asking that students in 5th grade and below are accompanied by a family member.
Join us for our latest outing Thursday, April 25th to Wonderland (10515 N Division)! Meet there at 2 pm for a round of no-host outdoor mini golf. ($12/person)for more information!
We are going mini golfing as a Young Adult group over at Wonderland!
We will meet at the church at 5:00 to walk over together for mini golf and then food afterwards. Bring some money for food, but the mini golf is on the church.

Whether you’ve been at Whitworth Church for 1 month or several decades, you have a story that captures your experience of this place. Each of us will have a chance to sit around a table with fellow congregants and share our unique story—and each one needs to be heard! We will gather on February 4 in Quall Hall for dessert, fellowship and telling our stories. Please participate in this fun exercise that is the next step in our consultation process for our 100th Anniversary.

In preparation for Black History Month in February, we encourage you to read "Just Mercy" by Bryan Stevenson. Copies of which are available in the church library. On Friday, February 2, we are watching the movie together at 6 pm in Tiffany Hall. Bring your own dinner, we'll provide movie snacks and drinks. (Movie is 2:15; childcare is not provided.) Even if you don't watch the movie with us, come for a discussion of the book and/or movie on Wednesday, February 7 at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary.
Join us for the city-wide rally and march on Monday, January 15. The church van will leave our parking lot at 9 am to meet others at the Convention Center for the rally and "I Have A Dream" speech at 10 am, followed by a march through the park. (This event is hosted by Spokane's Martin Luther King Center. More info is available by calling or emailing them.)
We will be going ice skating together, Sunday, January 14th at 5:00PM down at Riverfront Park! We will be carpooling from the church at 4:30PM and will grab dinner together after skating.

· Nursery and NextGen Sunday School (Preschool to High School) at 10am*
· Adult Education at 11:15 (children’s option as needed)

10:00am Shared Worship
Celebrating the 4th Sunday of Advent with our normal Sunday morning service, but a single service at a unique time. We will have Nursery Care for our youngest ones, but no Sunday School or Adult Education.
4:00pm Kids
This is a service for kids! (Parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles are invited, too.) Our NextGen team includes our children in a drama that will engage our youngest worshipers. Our worship team leads us in carols and many interactive parts of this service.
7:00pm Traditional
Music will include strings, brass, organ, piano and our choir. We will celebrate the story of Christmas through scripture and prayers with a special Christmas message. We conclude this service singing Silent Night by candlelight.
9:00pm Jazz
We welcome world-renowned Jazz musician Brent Edstrom to lead us in an amazing expression of worship. Classic carols and instrumental arrangements compliment scripture reading and a Christmas message. We conclude this service singing Silent Night by candlelight.
Join us on Thursday, December 21 at 7:00PM for a service on the longest night of the year, when the world experiences the most darkness, we gather to remember, to lament, to worship.
Family Caroling Night Friday, December 15th at 5:00pm Families & friends of Whitworth Church are invited to a night of caroling! We will meet at the Tallungan's house (1410 W Ardmore Ln, Spokane, WA 99218) to practice a few famous carols and then head out into their neighborhood. Afterwards, we will return to the Tallungan's for warm food/drink. No singing skill required, as these will be familiar songs. Come join us in for a wonderful event to share the joy of Jesus with our community!
Fellowship Friends! Join us for a potluck in Tiffany Hall. Hawaiian ham will be provided! Please bring a “luau” side dish/desert to share! (Hawaiian shirt optional)
On Wednesday, December 6, we're doing another Whitworth Goes To The Movies! To kick off the Advent season (and remind us of the reason for the season ) there will be a potluck dinner at 6:00 PM in the Welcome Center, followed by "The Chosen Christmas" in the Sanctuary, with discussion to follow. Again, potluck dinner at 6:00PM and movie at 6:30.
Gift Drop-Off December 3-17
This advent we are participating in World Relief's 'Giving Tree' event. Look for the trees with gift tags on them describing a person in Spokane that needs a wrapped present. Our goal is to bring gifts for 50 people as a church, so we are asking if you could bring home a tag or two as a family to support this project! This is a tangible way for our church to show the love of Christ to people who are newly immigrated to our community. The last day to bring gifts is Sunday, December 17th.
